Anyone been to the Baltimore Aquarium?

Going to be in Baltimore this weekend. Was wondering if any of you guys have visited the Baltimore aquarium and if its worth the trip?

Been there. It's a nice aquarium, was worth the trip. The inner harbor area (where the aquaium is located) is awesome too, so be prepaired to spend the day down there.

We went there and the Zoo; The aquarium was awsome (go Early and buy tickets online!); it was before I got into my tank so I really was ignorant on the reef stuff. The zoo wasn't that impressive.

BTW if your into crabs eat @ Phillips; I got 4 alaskan crab legs and a claw for 30 dollars and they were awsome! In Freeport it is 40 for 2 legs :(

like joe said its an all day thing and on the harbor there is a seafood place mccormicks i believe man that place had the best fresh seafood i have ever had.

I went with a class a few years back and had a behind the scenes tour, its a great facility (but I still like Joe's 20,000 better :) )

Thanks all! We're going with my sons little league team so its a large group. Many have said they wanted to come with us to the aquarium and to the harbor. Thanks for the resturant recommendations also.

Is a nice aquarium, but not much in terms of reef, i did a lot of work with them in terms of their poison frogs when Ron Galiardo was there, but he is now down in Atlanta dealing with their frogs there.
They do have a very impressive dolphin facilty though that you will enjoy.

I heart the national aquarium in Bmore! It's the best.

is the best in terms of facility and research, but not from a public stand point, or from a reef tank point of view.
