Anyone bored one of these weeknights?

Just wondering if anyone is bored during the week nights and has a truck... I've been tasked with getting a swingset/playground for my boys and I don't have a vehicle large enough to move that kind of lumber around...

Here's what she has in mind:

You could always put it on top of the Beamer. LOL!!!

Thanks Cliff, I don't think the roof would hold up too well, and don't want to take a hundred trips moving one piece at a time.

I could give you a hand depending on what evenings your are thinking about.

I'm at the mercy of anyone willing to use thier truck... I'm hoping to have a swingset located by today so it should be a matter of getting it loaded, moved, and dropped off. I can assemble it. :D

Eric, LMK if you want to use the Xterra, I don't know if it will haul all of it in one trip but maybe two. I go to work at 2pm every day so if you want to use it tomorrow, LMK.

Thanks Paul, I might go over there and see how it's packaged and how big the package is... My first thought is that I'll probably need a pickup truck, but we'll see.

Eric if you can't find a truck else where I can take one from work. Was planning on bringing one home this weekend anyways. So I could help you Friday night or over the weekend. Let me know.

Calvin, the man of many hats! Wow Calvin you've always got a major project going on there. Guess sine you've got the big tank done you must be board. Sorry I'm busy this weekend but it sounds like you've got a few volunteers already.

Maybe! The wife might not like worrying about the kids in the street stuff. Oh well that's what I used to do when I was young. I'm still alive, but I wished I had a MONSTER swing set like that one.

Hell I still like playing in the street but with big fast car's naw not the old little one's you pushed

Anyone free tonight around 5ish? I work on the N end of town... Tim, I'd call, but I can't find your number... Not sure what happened.

I bought the same setup. We were able to fit the box in our Dodge 2005 Grand Caravan with the back seat put down. Nice set up. For extra security though I did add two supports on the bottom of the tower. I am sure it would have been fine but when you have bunch of kids swinging on it and in the tower it did move around a lot.

Thanks for the heads up. Are you happy with the product overall or do you wish you would have bought something else?

I was concerned at first until I added the extra support. It did not feel solid. I just used 2x4s at an angle. Attaching to the legs and then to the wood resting on the ground. You will need two strong backs to put it together. My wife tried to help but she just could not provide enough strength to hold the piece in place while I screwed in the bolts and screws.

For the price it was a good buy. We have had it up for a year and a half with no issues. It was not as sturdy as the others but then the price of the others were more than double of what I paid. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.
