Anyone else have issues with the USB expansion card on Windows Vista?

I forced the Profilic to COM1 and I was able to stay connected for about 8-10mins and then it got hung up (Not Responding)

This time I was able to close the program and reconnect without having to unplug the USB cable so that is a HUGE improvement! :)

Having to close the program and reconnect does not bother me one bit so I am a happy camper! Thanks so much Harry. We owe you one!!!

No problem

I just know this stuff can get frustrating.

and Vista doesn't make it any easier

Post a lic of the com port screen so others can find it

Mabie even make a new thread.

Your the Expert now :)

I have personally not seen that error before,

I am assuming you are using a PLM-USB expansion card?

If so then I will ask matthias to see if he can support you by email directly if you could drop me an email. I am not the best PC wizzard so Matthias I hope can offer some better advise.

Let me know what you are using to connect to USB

xenon, do you have the latest drivers installed?

You can also try unhooking all your other USB
devices, sometimes they mess you up as well.

Good Luck, Hope you get it working right.

I gave up on the USB card.

I will be switching to a LAN card as soon as I can get one.
