Anyone else see the monster orangetail Emp. on DD?

Who knows, I'm sure it varies, but possible to grow more as they age. If memory serves me correctly, Recty's CXI emp is about 8", so there goes that idea haha.

Yeah, my angel is 7 to 8 inches.

Mine is from Christmas Island, maybe the angels from that region have less stripes than angels from other regions?

Funny that - I was just looking at pic of your emporer on another thread, and it looks like your emporer has a near perfect pattern on his "port" side, but has a couple of broken bands on his "starboard" side? Mine is the exact same!!!

Just received an Orangetail Imperator from Exotic Reef Imports and it was dead on arrival. Called up customer service and was told they don't guarantee large fish. Nothing on their site states no guarantee large fish. Would have nice if they would state that when ordering. But you read their DOA policy and you believe your covered WRONG!

ERI has a "case by case" DOA policy. They love playing games with us too.

I'm excited to watch my emperor get big. she just got her adult coloration 6 months or so ago. she's in a 180 with a queen and regal angel, and other fish.

ERI gave me 1/2 credit for the dead Orangetail emperor which I guess is ok. If your gonna charge .50 an ice pack be legit ice packs not small bags with frozen water.

He doesn't understand how a consumer purchased a fish from a wholesaler. Typically, unless you sell retail fish, you can't purchase from a wholesaler.

I don't understand either, unless you own an LFS.

You can do anything you want. Several friends of mine own stores and have licenses so I get hooked up time to time.
