Anyone ever built a media basket with Egg Crate?

I just set up the Nuvo 10g and would like to keep the filtersock inplace. So I was thinking about building my own Media Basket with eggcrate and zip ties for the 2nd chamber..

Cheap and easy....

Anyone else do this in their nano setups?

I tried it with some success. I ended up ditching it all together when I got a sump though.

I made one lastnight and it worked perfectly

Didn't think about this last night but if you don't have much room in the chamber, the egg crate takes up a lot of room. I think it is about 3/8 (or maybe more) of an inch thick, so two sides will take up 3/4 inch of space.
