Anyone ever have a starfish with a hole in its head, Well i do =(

I just saw my starfish has a hole in the middle of its head. Will he recover? ..is this normal? I love my starfish very mutch and i would hate to see him die. Hes a red brittle starfish.

It usually happens when they eat something too big..anything missing? He can recover. How long have you had him? What else is in the tank..any crabs?

That photo is a mess. Is it the starfishes anus or madreporite? Can you take a better photo?!

i've seen a thread like this before. with all the debating, they concluded the hole to be the starfish's anus.

That does'nt make sense, a starfish eats and expels waste from the same place. Is'nt this hole on the top of the starfish?

Srry i cant get a better pic until monday. Yes there was a fidler crab missig. But, now the starfish i getting worse. He lost a limb last night
