i put the same amount in every time i dose my tank well today i put number one in(alkalinity) and it turned into what looked like snow.......i have no clue im trying to find something online but no luck im gonna keep looking but i was hopeing my fellow reefers could help. thanx

The reason is that the calcium is looking for somethig to bond to. When you add both at the same time, the calcium ion instantly bonds to the buffer, and precipitate like snow. To prevent this in the future, add the calcium 1st, or well after the buffer. This is the reason there are two bottles. Once the calcium is bonded, it is not longer bio-available.

Wanna have some fun, put a cap full of the buffer is a clear glass, then pour in the calcium. Swirl a bit.........

i dont add them at the same time. i add no.1 let it go then i add no.2. but hey you night be on to something ill give them more time between them
