Anyone ever used PimaFix? Thanks for any advice

As I posted before a Titan Trigger I got from Diver's Den came to me with something on his fin. I sent them a picture and they told me its a fungus and to treat him with PimaFix. So, I got some and started the treatment.

First thing it did was make the skimmer go totally nuts and foam all over, I opened the valve and right now just using the skimmer to put oxygen in the water.

Secondly, the stuff smells very strong and you can smell it in the entire room. It actually smells nice but not like something I'd want in my tank.

Third, the trigger is very angry and just locked in his rock since I started the treatment. He seems to be breathing fine and looking around but refuses to swim out.

Any advice that would atleast make me feel better would be nice :-) And I am thinking of cutting way back on food over the treatment course. Is that a good idea?

Thanks

Well, Its day 3 of the PimaFix treatment and I would say it has improved 95%. The growth/fungus/whatever it was started at about the size of a BB but now is down to less than a grain of sand. It might even be gone in the morning. Even though the Pimafix has made skimming impossible, and the tank is over run with micro bubbles (something to do with the PimaFix) it is seeming to do the job and thus I am very thankful.

Pimafix increases foaming, your tank effects are normal. Skimming should be stopped when medicating since the chemicals interfere with their operation. Also, the skimmer can remove meds from water. Recommend run the whole 7 day treatment even if clear by day 3.
