I am planning on going....I am planning to stay one night for sure possibly both nights.

I see on the GIRs event calandar that we have local meetings scheduled for that weekend.

Anyhow....just wondering who is planning on being there?

Yeah we tried scheduling a Shedd tour and a IMAC combo. It's suppose to be the month of june not just that weekend, sorry about the confusion. I think we are going to try to make the whole weekend, just have to see how things go

The Dates are June 1, 2, 3 Fri, Sat, Sun.

Maybe we should add it to our calander on the GIRs website?

We are planning on going, Jason didnt you mention something baout getting cheap tickets from someone for CLUB MEMBERS??

Note the shameless plug....

Nope I forgot.

If you are a CURRENT MEMBER of the GIRS ou can get a discount on the admission, it's like $90 instead of $149 but this deal only goes until the 15th of april after that the prices will go up to $125. Please do not attempt to get the discount if your not a member as they do check with club presidents to see if the membership is accurate.

So Jason, what you are saying is that if you are a CURRENT MEMBER you can save $60 just at this ONE EVENT? Why wouldn't anyone not want to be a member if that is the case??

Maybe you can post something in the SUPER AWESOME MEMBERS ONLY forum on the NEW WEBSITE about the details?

Yet another shameless plug.........:D

Go to the IMAC web site and click on the Program Advertisment section, if you scroll to the bottom you will see a section thats listed Reef Club Discounts. I messed up on the dates it was 90 until the 15th of march, it's 125 from now until who knows when....they tend to change prices quite abit

I'm going. I have already made reservation and paid for the Shedd tank tour.

I just need to purchase my admission for IMAC. Oh.. and hotel reservations.. doh.. better do that now.

LOL!

Maybe Jeremy could make an infomercial for us that we could post on the new website. All he needs is a sweater and an aussie accent.

Just a heads-up ... members of reef clubs get substantial discounts on registrations for IMAC by going to www.theimac.org, clicking on Program Advertising and scrolling down to the bottom.

Registration is $100 with this special, that's 1/3 off!

I will check the reciept when I get home, but I could have sworn that it was 125.00 when I paid for mine in the last couple weeks.
