Anyone got $30,000 to drop?

Tanks like this are cool when you don't do the service/cleaning on them. The idea was neat but it is not practical. I know service people that turn down tanks like this because of how much of a pain it is to service...

my answer is nope, and i sure wouldnt spend it on a tank like that...im starting to hate the shape of my corner tank as it is lol. with 30gs ill build one hell of a nice reef with fish room

$30,000 and its just the tank.... no pumps or other equipment., your paying the high price cause someone famous owned it once.

On another note someone listed a 500 Gallon full setup (I think) with filters, fish and all for $400 this past weekend on Craigslist Miami. that sounds like a to good to be true offer.

They are exaggerating a bit on the 60k, probably to help with the sale. My old boss had a 1000g custom tank built at the lobby of his business that ran around 40-50k, but that was with everything (9 400w MH, 200g sump, 6ft reactors, LR, etc)

Eh, Living color seems to be kind of like the Gucci/Louis Vitton [sp?] of FO aquariums.... same company that did all big al's stuff. VERY expensive

living color makes a very nice tank
ive seen some smaller tanks of theirs in person
but these tanks are home accessories not reef tanks
these are maintained and kept in homes where the client may see their tank 3 months out of th year
