anyone had luck with rotifers for dwarf seahorse food?

I understand that in order to keep dwarf seahorses you need to feed them live foods. I have seen many instances where bbs are used. My question is, can Rotifers be used as food? I already have a few cultures going and it would be easy for me to bulk up a bit and use them as feed rather than to by the bbs eggs and hatch them. How do the nutritional values stack up? Will rots carry the same amount of nutrients? Will this sustain them?

Thanks in advance.

It will take a heck of a pile of rotifers to make up for what they need.
Also, rotifers have less nutrition than brine shrimp so definitely need to be enriched before use.
Many copepods are just like rotifers in that they need too many because of such small size. Pick a species of pod that is more like the size of bbs.
Enriched ongrown bbs is the preferred staple food, but a variety of appropriately sized pod life is an excellent lifeline booster.
