Anyone have a cup for a euroreef 8" skimmer?

I cracked my cup tonight attempting to drill it, does anyone have an extra cup for an 8" euroreef skimmer?

hey why not call ER and see if you can get one from them, there here in the OC so you might even be able to get it soon. Just a though

Charles checked on the price from ER and it was $150 for the cup (lid not included).

outch, do you think you can repair the old one. Is it crack or shattered?

It's a crack, an easy fix but I'm pretty anal about my equiptment hehe

It cracked upwards to the top lip of the cup and then over a little. Nothing a little weld-on can't repair (no damage to inside cup or foam pipe, just the outer wall).

Charles bring it by when you pick up the kalk. Don't use weldon on it.

Right on, do you have skimmer cup repair experience? What should I use?

The cheapest I have found the cup is $120, could buy a used 8-1 for a little more! I'm trying to get out there on Sunday or even today if Jen gets done early.

You might ask George Weber (Geo) I'm pretty sure he uses the same colars.
