Anyone have a HOB overflow box they would sell cheap?

I think a snail crawled down one of my two overflows and I cant seem to get him out. The tank is draining ok with one drain unobstructed but its making me nervous, as if that one gets blocked at all its flood time. I'd like to find something I could hang off the back or side until the blocked drain starts flowing again. I dont know if anything will even fit for sure or how long I'd need it, so I don't want to spend much. Id take something broken that could be repaired, no matter how ugly :).

Let me know if you have something that might work. Thanks!

You should be able to unscrew the standpipe from the bulkhead and just go that way...unless he got farther than that.

The tank's not drilled. My drains are the DIY PVC pretzel monstrosities. Each one has about a 7' stretch of 1" PVC where the snail could be hiding and there's no good way to clean out the pipes without cutting them.

Now, on the bright side, I did see a snail in my sump this morning who was not there before...he may have been the trouble maker. The drain is still not flowing correctly though, so either I need to blow some air out of it, or he had a buddy that followed him down.

This is what I get for being lazy and not replacing the snail guard when I saw it had fallen off two weeks ago. :sad2:

Why not just make another one. If it works well for your set up pvc is relatively cheap make a new one and just replace it.
