Anyone have a mantis they want to sell me?

I want a mantis...got a 12 gallon all set up for him...i was wondering if anyone in the chicagoland area has one they are willing to sell to me...before i have to order one online for like sixty bucks.

I have a hammer type one about 4 years old, 3-4 inches long. Orange brown with purple hammer arms with fake eyes. He has a nice softball size rock that he lives in that will have to go with the mantis. Both for $50

i called this place in tinley park and they got one for like 11.99....and since im cheap and poor im just going to drive all the way out there to get that one for the lesser price...unless you are willing to drop $25 bucks off of the fifty...cause wheaton is much closer then tinley park.

I am ordering some LR from Tampa Bay SW tonight, hopefully for delivery next week, last time I got two large mantis shrimps.

yes yes yes yes yes....totally....let me know when you get the rock in if you get any mantis shrimps....i'll also take any gorilla crabs you get...i have a small invert only tank and i would like to have some gorilla crabs in there cause i have never actually seen them.

I have TBS rock and kill a Gorilla crab nearly every day, Never did I dream anyone would want them..../shrug

I also still have a mantis or pistol in my tank that I have not yet seen, but if its a mantis it is promised already.

Roger, picked it up at midway last night.

I am working all day today, but am home tomorrow.

I will put the rock into a higher saline water to flush out any mantis and crabs and call you if ...or when I find any. - Fred

Hey Roger, sorry I kinda lost this thread.

I usually just spear my gorillas, not sure how catching them would work out.

If I happen to see one out in the open I will try and catch it. If I succeed I will send you a pm or post here.

at night put a drinking glass with a peice of food in there leaning against a rock....the crabs will fall in and not have anything to grip on to so they can climb out.

i hear that works....i tried it with my emrald crab but either the shrimp kept eating the food or it didnt work
