Anyone have a mantis they want to sell me?

Take a 20oz pop bottle (wash it well of course) and cut the top off about a 1/4" above the smooth side part then invert the top and poke a couple holes in the bottom of the bottle put some food in the bottle something smelly like squid and then place in the tank nothing that gets in will get out. Do this after lights out so you can catch your bristle worms, mantis, pistols, emeralds etc. I have even got my cleaner that way. Actually the first time I got my cleaner, my emerald, my fire shrimp, and a pistol.

yeah that works too...but i couldnt catch any bristles like that....those are harder to catch.

Roger, just finished flushing out the rock and I found one mantis and one crab.
I have them in a 5 gal bucket with an air pump.
I am home all day tomorrow except from 3:30 - 5:00pm for my daughters soccer game...unless rained/snowed out.

thanks again rxinc.....turns out that the other crab in the bucket was indeed a porcelein crab so i put that in my 29....also there was a body of really small gorilla crab in the bucket that you couldnt see without a flash light...i dont know if the mantis killed it or if it was dead in your rock.
