I just set up a new tank and thinking of switching back to Prodibio from pellets.
I would also like to see if anyone is using this system as well.

I thought prodibio fell by the wayside when biopellets caught on..... I had forgotten about that stuff..... Ha

I ran prodibio for a short period of time. Switched to Zeovit and have gotten much better results. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it IMO. The Prodibio really didn't do much in the way of knocking down nutrients, a little too conservative. With Zeovit, it's the opposite. My nutrients are keep so low that I need to fight to keep them up. Which IMO is the better of the two.

I have been using the BioDigest and BioPtim, for appx 1 year now, along with my Protein Skimmer, to control nutrients. A few times I found myself spacing out the 15 day doses to 20 days or so due to the fact my water seemed too clean as indicated by my Montipora and Chalice.

well i have stopped bio pellets 2 weeks ago and dosed prodibio last week..i am curious to see how everything responds especially my LPS that have been hurting...

I do :)
Having been dosing Bioptim and Biodigest an year now.
And an happy with it. Stick to the recommended dosage and will work.
Happy Reefing!!

Can´t get Biodigest righ know, but still have plenty of Biptim. Can i use it with no harm ?
I have a 260g mix reef and my no3 is 2 and my po4 is 0.16

By the way ... why can´t i use biopellets and prodibio at the same time ??

It´s one or the other ??

I use the Bioptim and digest and I'd like to think they are working. Nitrates are always around 5ppm and po4 0.00 to 0.03. I also run GFO. Always wondered if the skimmer needs to be shut down after dosing? Anyone?

YES !! Al least for 2 hours. Biodigest is made of bacterial strains so if you have the skimmer and/or UV on, they will be cought in there.

I am in about 7 weeks in and prodibio has been helping immensely to get things back on track. Phosphates & nitrates are way down and things are starting to look nice & healthy again.

OK thanks Vlado. I wish they said that one the directions! I read that carbon needs to be removed for a couple hours too for people who don't know...

I have used Prodibio for a few years now successfully. Works great. PO4 is normally around .02-.04. You gotta love that.

Was wondering what it would be like to do biopellets in conjunction with Prodibio but it might be overkill.
