Anyone seen a red sea regal in the area?

I saw a regal at Reefs Edge the other day (Rte 53 and 135th in Romeoville) Couldnt tell you if it was a red sea variety or not. They have a nice selection of fish.. not too much in the way of corals though and only softies at that.

Yeah i saw that there today... All it says is regal angel, but its only $50

Ah... then its probably not a Red Sea Regal - they are usually a bit more.

It is probably an Indo-Pacific Regal, they are not as colorful and have a grey/light blueish belly - where the Red Sea Regal has a bright yellow belly and much brighter colors.

The Red Sea Regal is also supposed to better adapt to captivity.

I went and picked up that regal for $50 at reefers edge, it just so happened to be a Red Sea Regal and is eating like a PIG. That place has some great deals on fish. check it out
