I don't have any money at the moment, but I was looking for some sps colonies (acro) or maybe some lps colonies (frogspawn, hammer, brain, war, etc.). I just want to get some more coral, now that I have the new light.

Tom,

I have the zoes that we talked about but more so the green Sinularia. call me and we can talk about it.

Divers Den is the best source for cheap SPS colonies. I doubt you will find anyone local that will sell colonies unless they are breaking down their tank.

Aquaworld used to get in SPS mini colonies for good prices, but that was a long time ago. I haven't been in the market for any new corals in a while, so I haven't made it out that way in quite some time. So I have no idea if they still even order them.

aquaworld doest have to many mini colonies any more the tank they use to be help in is now manly a zoa colony tank not bad prices either but no sps in that tank.

Not sure if you head to Erie often, if so, check out Buzz n Bees...they have a surprisngly nice coral selection...pricing tends to be a lil on the high side but you can negotiate a little with them...i was just there today, they had some decent sized 3-4" colonies of sour apple seri's (49.99) and pink birdsnest (34.99)....some very nice acans 4-20+ heads...i think they ranged from 79.99 to 199.99 for the colonies

Here was my review from lastyear going to the Erie stores.

"Review Time:

Buzz N' B's - Well this place had the same livetock that Petco would have. I wanted coral. They had none. There were only a few saltwater fish. LOTS of freshwater.

Seacave - This place had LOTS of coral. They only sell LPS and zoa. I asked the son of the owner "do you sell SPS?" and he said "like acropora?". I said "YES..." and he stated "we dont have acropora because it is hard to sell. People can not afford it here in Erie." I just laughed. Also the corals they did have were SO crazy in price. $45 for 2 inches of green star polyps... come on. $40 for 2 heads of candycane...that were brown...."

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID

I have a big colony of Frogspawn that I could sell half of - it is in my office in Wexford = Bailey Chiropractic.
