Anyone have any NO endcaps laying around?

Slave to the reef!
Right now i am running NO actinics in my stock strip lights that came with the tank. It works but the stock lights block some of the light from my MH's so i would like to just get some clips and endcaps and mount them inside my canopy. The bulbs i have, have built in reflectors so it should work great. I was just going to order some but i thought i would see if anyone had some laying around they would wan t to get rid of for cheap.

Let me know.

Thanks

Jeremy

Just pull the ends off one of those old shoplights I gave you. Should be plenty of ends there! ;)

Was looking at those but theres no good way to mount them.

After further inspection there is a good way to mount them. I got the job done and it only took about an hour. Now I'll be able to get into my tank ALOT easier and I won't have those darn lights blocking my MH's.

Good idea Matt!

Nope, i couldn't get those ballast to light my actinics so i just used some of the ends and wiring and made my own 72" fixture with a 1"x4" board and screwed it to the lid of my canopy. Ill take a pic quick so you can see what i mean.

Here ya go, it's a bad pic, but you can see where i mounted the lights and ballast. I'm gonna take back the ends i bought at menards and buy some wire clips so the wires will be secure instead of flopping around loose like they are now.

Its actually alot safer that the pile of strip lights you had wired together, how did you manage to not let your wife see that freekin' mess of wires? How many wire nuts can you use on one tank anyway.

;)
