Anyone have any pH calibration solution?

Hi all!

Just got my pH probe in. I was wondering if anyone had any extra calibration fluid I could buy? I may have to order some, but I thought I would check around locally first.

Do any of the local stores carry it?

I got 2 packets of 4.0, 7.0, and 10.0 for $8 shipped... and its PinPoint solution... not too bad.

I think you only need two different calibrations, not all 3. Either 7 and 10, or 7 and 4. That way, you're calibrating neutral pH (7), and a variable. I've always used 7 and 10 because the range we shoot for in our tanks is between 7 and 10. I think I've read this about 2 point calibrating before, but I can't remember where. Not like this saves you a while bunch of money, but every little bit helps.

I wasn't sure how my controller did it, and they were $1.25 per packet including shipping after the first, so I figured why not?

I tried to see how my controller calibrates, but I couldn't tell without doing it and I didn't want to, and I (much to my surprise) couldn't find it in the manual. So I'll just wait until it all gets here.
