Anyone have any thoughts on these lights on e-bay

I have 2 of em. But I got em a while ago when they were 90$ = 20$ s/h. The bulbs are Plus bulbs and the ballasts are kinda loud, and I love em. I paid 110$ each for 250w MH, thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s why I love em. The plus bulbs definetly need actinics. I have a 55w actinic and a 55w 50/50, both pc's, to suplement mine and with those the lite is bright white, which I like. Right now I just have one of them over a 30g and I have too much growth. Seriously, itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a problem. The reflector is a little large. Right now iam building the canopy for my 75 and at 12 inchs high the outside of the reflectors almost drop to the rim of the tank and with out the canopy squezzing them in, they would be about an inch wider on front and back then the tank. Iam just gonna use some tin snips to trim them up. And the bulb hangs about 6.5 inchs below the reflector. I think itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a decent reflector tho, other then its size.
All in all, itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a plug and play setup for dirt cheap. I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t think you could build something similar yourself for that price. And I would recommed that seller as well.
