Anyone have experience with "alternative" live rock?

Trying to be more environmentally friendly with my upgrade to a 120 and looking into artificial or non-traditional rock choices. I've found a few and just wondering if anyone has experience with them.

BRS Reef Saver
ReefRocks

Are the three I found. The deal from ReefRocks is pretty insane, but I'm not finding as much in the way of testimonials.

I've used the BRS reef saver and the Reef Cleaners dry rock. Not sure if the two of them come from the same source or not. They look pretty much the same. I've found that you need to soak them to remove the excess phosphates. I soaked mine in a bucket of sw with a bag of Phosguard for around 3 weeks. I did replace the water and Phosguard halfway through. Reef cleaners indicate that they soak their rock prior to selling. I asked BRS to ship me smaller pieces of rock and they ignored my request eventhough when I called they said they would. I asked John at reef cleaners to ship me smaller pieces and he did. Next time I need rock, I will be going back to order from John at reef cleaners.

I have used marco rocks inn the past. Decent price and ships free. Most of this stuff coming from FL though, is quite dense rock. There are comparison photos floating around somewhere.
That said, I was extremely happy with the marco rock.

Yeah, I found Marco and ReefCleaners (didn't know the latter was non-marine source) after I posted this. I'm leaning towards ReefCleaners because of good past experiences and the overall good reputation of John. Thanks for the input! I probably won't order it for a bit still because I have yet to build the canopy for the new setup, so any other opinions are welcome

I have used Reef Rocks on multiple occasions, he donated hundreds of pounds of rock to our school reef tanks. We've always had really good luck with it and it has worked well.

I have also used CaribSea LifeRock and it worked well and cycled fast, but it is a lot more expensive. (It was donated by CaribSea for my school tanks as well).
