Hi, I have not yet had a chance to join or participate in the C-Sea organization but would like to. I am new to the hobby and I am looking at getting some frags to help start my tank. It seems the best livestock is at Aquatic Technology and his prices are pretty expensive.

I live in Columbia Station and would pick up locally.

Here is a shot of my tank as it stands to day. As you can see its still pretty empty. Its been up and running since 5/22. Everything is very stable and I'm ready to stock. The tank has MH and high flow so it can accomodate just about anything.

I plan on attending the CORA frag swap in Sept. but I would like to add a few specimins in the mean time. I do have a very nice spotted Xenia that is growing like mad that I willl frag in a couple of months.

Your tank is looking pretty good. I have some Kenya tree and some anthelia if you are interested. Might also be able to get you a chunk of a finger leather and maybe some green sinularia. I live about 45 minutes away. If you decide to head this way send me a PM and I will round them up and get them ready for you.

These are " freebies " by the way... just bring a cooler to keep them warm on the way home. Most of the reefers I have met are very generous people and they will do a lot for a newbie. I found that out last year when I joined C-SEA. There are many good people and great friends to be made.

Did you make some of that rock yourself? Some of them look a bit like the concrete rocks I made to help fill my tanks.

If you have anything you can frag yet I wouldn't refuse a frag but it's not necessary if yours is all too new :)

Hey thanks for the offer I will definately come down for a few frags! Thats EXTREMELY generous of you. When I placed the post I never thought I would get a response like this. Maybe I can make it down next weekend if that would work for you. Your not that far from me anyway. I'll send you a PM to get your address.

And the rock is all DIY agrocrete. I'm a big DIY guy and it was a fun project and it turned out pretty well. I figured in the end I would have a 60/40 mix of DIY rock and real LR adding frags attached to pieces of LR.

My Xenia is just a little young to frag yet but when I do you will definately get some if you would like it. Thanks again.

I have some free SPS that is great for beginners. Come on down, I promise big chunks. I need to cut some stuff back that is shading other corals. Bring some big containers.. :)

Mike I want to say thanks again for the great frags. Your tank is beautiful and it really shows how much things can grow in just a few years.
