anyone have issues with RBTA staying small?

I have an RBTA that has split 10 times in the last 3 months and I'm starting to wonder if its the real thing or just some sort of pest anemone. It stays small and splits as soon as it reaches about 3 inches in diameter. It looks just like a regular RBTA though I notice it doesnt have the rainbow pattern it is solid red. anyone else having this issue? I do feed it little shrimp pieces every now and then.

how big does a Bali RBTA get I cant seem to find any solid info about these.

found some pics it is definitely a bali RBTA. I guess it could be splitting so much because it is in a 15 gallon tank and the salinity keeps changing when i do water changes. I had an emergency after using flatworm exit and went from 5 to 10 anemones in like 2 days.
