Anyone have luck with anemone shrimp long term?

I've tried a couple in the past and they always seem to disappear after a couple weeks. I'm thinking of trying one more time since I have some bigger anemones now. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if they may only work in a tank with only an anemone and them.

Ahh. I have never tried them, however, I have had sexy anemone shrimp for 3 or 4 years now and they are endlessly entertaining. They loved hanging out in an rbta until my clownfish usurped it from them. Now they reside in mushrooms (plotting their revenge).

I have 4 porcelain anemone shrimp in my tank. One pair in one of my Haddoni, one in one of my Gigantea and another in a Magnifica. The pair have been there for 2 years and the other two about 1 year (but did not pair up). I don't know how to sex them.

Do you mean the porcelain crabs? I have a couple of those that seem to stay in my gigs. I'm wondering more about the Pederson type shrimp

I think it is the fishes you got.
My orange blood clown chased and killed it. I don't think she ate it but spit it out. 15 dollar lesson learned. She won't let anything near her anemones even the male.
