I have been looking at blue sea fans for quite some time, and have done all the research possible, but as this is a pretty rare coral information seems to be very limited, so I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience with them, good, bad or other.... I actually just picked one up, it looks to have a couple small area's of tissue loss, but overall healthy, I have offered zooplex a couple times, not really having any major issues with it, just looking for any information out there...

Blueberry gorgonian or thin Guaiagorgia? I heard that Menella could be blue too.
There is a lot of information about blueberry gorgonian here, but none will tell you how to keep it alive for sure.
Guaiagorgia: moderate flow.
Don't have Menella, but it seems to be the easiest and most reliablr from non-photosynthetic gorgonians.
Feeding for all gorgonians by variety of foods (mainly zooplankton) of the size to fit the mouth, at least few times daily, continuous feeding preferable.

Keep an eye on tissue loss area: if you feed and it continues, try place it in a different flow areas. The options are: lower, higher and turbulent (or flow around). When and if you have nothing to lose, frag it.
