The link I posted above is not nearly as fancy as Sparkss's design, but it's also more modular in that it can stand alone next to an existing system. It was very easy to make, and it's working well for us. I'm sure you can find plenty of people here who can give you advice on how to improve on whichever design you choose to start from.
