I got a frag of this over two years ago. It's a real slow grower but as time goes by i have contined to be awed by this one. Probably one of the nicest acros i have if not the nicest.

My pics are an insult to what this thing really looks like. It's blue, its purple, its red, its green. It just keeps getting more colorfull.

Does anyone else have this one and can post a pic or two of it?

here's UF's pic

I'd love to see some other pics of this one

That's beautfiul! Thanks for posting that picture as this is definitely one I need to keep an eye out for.

Wow that is super nice.....I cant believe that is 2 years of happy growth though. That part sucks.

I checked out the pic on UF and it doesnt even look like the same species. Yours looks more like a millepora or prostrata.

yep, over two years actualy. I have fragged it twice for trades. It does seem to be picking up a little though on growth. They are the same coral unless Rommel sold me something else. I am pretty sure they are though. In person you can see the blue and the multi color polyps. I wish i had a better pic of mine.

there has to be a few people out there with this one. I know at least two, but i am sure there frags are still quite small.

Let's see them!

mine hasnt started to flash in the base yet. it is still the steel blue with the multi color polyps. i cant wait till it starts to show all those colors. i agree though i thought it was def a milli or prostrata by structure.

nice pics i will try to snap a pic.

Sorry guys i guess i should say i dont really plan on fragging this one much anytime soon. especially with how slow it grows.

I really just want to see some other pics of it.

I am not sure who he is but i can only imagine that the man whose namesake is this acro must have a nice sized colony of it :celeb2:

does anybody know the Jose who named this one?

thanks for sharing your pictures. this is an interesting coral as it seems to look different in other tanks. i dont know if the lineage has been mixed up, there are different corals circulating as the UF rainbow acro, or they indeed morph in different tank conditions.

i have a frag i with lineage from Rommel>Fonda>stryker and mine still has some coloring up to do but has blue/green/brown color so far. i moved it up higher to see what it does. ill try to get a picture of it.

i have seen several other pictures that show it is a pink millie with green polyps? i'm confused.

mine came directly from ultimate frags. Definantly loves the high light.

There are a few ultimate frags "rainbows" out there. this one is the one and only Jose rainbow.

I'd love to see some other pics.

If you have one of these please post some.

um yeah i meant that in a positive way.:spin3:

looks like you may be one of only a few that actually has this one.

Still wouldnt mind seeing a few nicer pics if anyone else has some.

This is "Jose's rainbow" acro, which was a coral distributed by Ultimate Frags.

Ultimate frags(Rommel) also has his own "rainbow acro"; Rommel's rainbow acro or Ultimate frag rainbow acro, whichever you prefer to call it.
