Past few days Ive been having problems getting in. Once in I reload the page and it tells me server is too busy (takes me a few tries to get back in) Also my Pc is lagging on RC but other pages load fast...... Is it just me?
Anyone having issues with RC lately?

nope not just you, i have the same problem with the site and i have a top of the line laptop. im guessing its server based issues

I was going to pose the same question Shawna. I was beginning to think it was me. No one else was complaining. This really stinks. I've been spending a lot more time on other sites because of it.

Ok Thanks ,Yeah I have a newer laptop also with a wireless broadband card that's pretty fast but wow everytime I log on lately it's like I'm on dial up takes so long to load, Plus the above errors don't help 
Hope it's something they can fix?

yea,its got problems.3 different computers and it wont load on either most of the time.got to reload to get the page

Yeah, It has to do with the servers. Last I knew they were doing the big overhaul of the site. I have most trouble logging on between 4-5am when I think they are updating. I'm sure they are working hard at it to get it fixed.

Yeah, Like right now I'm trying to go to all the posts.....Click a link.....wait.....wait.... status bar still in the middle (not fully loaded) until I click reload then it brings me to post! So long just to read one post

The moderators know that the site is going slow. From what I was told, a lot of the old information (before RC was upgraded last fall) is now being backed-up and in the process is taking a toll on the server. I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure it won't be long before RC is up and running as usual! 
PS- Every night at exactly 4:30am the site is backed up and goes offline for about 45 minutes. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.
