Hi people

anybody know what this growth is on my Aip' eating filefish?

it hasn't spread to any of my other fish.

any help would be great!

Looks like Lymphocystis, a common viral infection that usually disappears with pristine water & good diet. I don't know what causes it, but its common and not dangerous.
 
MRTuskfish is correct, its lympho and it is a virus. there is no cure for it. it only triggers in a fish when its stressed and moved to a new environment. a good quality water and good feeding will take care of it unless u know how to perform surgery and can take out the infected areas.
