Anyone here dosing vitamin c???

I wish I would've taken some before and afters... My camera is a Piece anywho and it wouldn't make much difference but I've noticed a lot better health from everything since dosing.

Rob,
Now that you have been doing it for a couple of weeks have you noticed any difference? If so what type of VC are you using?

Hey someone actually local to me hahahaha

I have not started dosing straight VC yet. I have been using Reef Solutions for the past 2 weeks and I think it is too early to tell all though I did have some zoas that were not opening and they have started to open now. I'm still reading before I decide to go all out

I had been reading the huge post in the Zoa forum and it really did sound pretty interesting, but at that time I didnt have any Zoas so I never tried it. The huge issue was the amount of VC that had to be added and the kind of VC that was added (unbuffered and buffered). I remember people just dropping tablet after tablet into their sumps and hoping for the best. If you read the whole thread, there are some good suggestions if you are going to try this. the other thing most people didnt do was take before and after pics. i think there were others that were thinking about trying this but not sure if anyone local ever did. GL and let us know how it goes.

Pufferpink was one of the first people to try this I think and has been sticking to the thread the whole time so he would be the go-to-guy on this topic

I tried a little vitamin C (500 mg) last night and my clowns acted crazy like they were on 10 cups of espresso. They then disappeared behind a rock. I was really worried but they came out again *whew*. Everybody else was fine. I don't think I'll continue that in my tank. Maybe I'll try it if I ever get to the point of fragging something.

nope, it was right after I added it, the water got a little cloudy with the vitamin C and then they got all excited, chasing everybody and then doing who knows what behind a rock. Everything was fine this morning

LOL, wow thats kind of weird. What kind of Vitamin C were you using? Did you add it directly to your display? Did you use the 500mg on the 30G tank in your sig? Whats the total water volume in your system?

I don't know the water volume after the rock but it's the 30 gallon. I disolved a cosco type vitamin C with rose hips (1/2 of a 1000 mg tablet) in some salt water and then added it slowly. Any left over I put in the protein skimmer to distribute through the tank
