Anyone here have a 120?

Really getting annoyed with the way the overflows are setup. Would prefer to have the square ones in the corner but I have the dual overflows about 5" from each side. (all-glass) I get a lot of detritus build up in the corners. I'm not overfeeding, my phosphates are a bit high but just switched up everything. TDS is fine, etc... I just don't think I'm getting enough flow to the corners.

The return is a Mag18 with a total of 4 loc-lines and 2- Tunze 6000's

I've tried about 15 different setups. I'm thinking about going to a 3rd tunze but just going with the 6060 as I don't use the controller anyways. I don't really want to just upgrade the transformers because I still can't get the corners.

Thoughts??? Suggestions??? Anyone have a pic of their 120???

I think mine is a Perfecto, its a 120 (5 foot long). It has overflows in the corners but they are pretty poorly designed as well.

That is a bit of a design flaw but no matter what you do you will always end up with a dead spot or two. I have not seen your tank but I assume that you don't have the back wall covered with rock and therefore you can see the two corners and the dead spots...

I use 2 hydor rotating deflectors to get some random flow coming from the sump via a mag 12 and then 6 total outlets from my dart. That seems to do the trick for me. I still get one small dead spot right under one of the outlets but the fish swim by there quiet often and stir the stuff up...

Add a couple of the deflectors to two of your locline outlets and see what that does...if you think that you need more flow you can add two enductors to the other two outlets... Those things make a heck of a difference...

I think that irregular flow will resolve your issue...
