I was in Marine Solutions talking to Brad and he asked me if I knew anyone interested in a job. It sounds like a pretty cool deal to me but I have no time after my day job. The job is for a maintenence/husbandry person. He said their wholesaler from California would be coming out for a few days to train and possibly the person who got the job flying out to thier facility in California for some more training. I am not sure about the money issue, you would have to talk to him about that but he said it had the possibility to pay well with the maintenence part of it. I told him I would see if anyone here was interested. Trottie this would be a great gig for you if you had a car and wanted to drop out of school to keep up with your hobby but I doubt you parents will understand.

where is marine solutions? And that sounds like a great opportunity, if they paid $15.00/hr or more I would do it in a heart-beat.

I think that maybe Brad and all of the employees at M.S. need to go to CA for some training. :eek1:

There intensive training program teaches you how to sell livestock that is sure to die and then how to blame it on the customers so they can sell you more crap. Of course this ties into the sell some useless additives and equipment to trusting custumers to make a quick buck program!! Of course we can't forget my favorite, how to adjust prices based on custumers aquarium knowledge and annual income. I could go on but I better quit.

Never having dealt with MS I have no personal experience on which to base any observations, but it sure sounds as if there is a disgruntled customer out there somewhere...

:mad2:

sounds kinda shady... fortunatly/unfortunatly they are the most convienent for me.

although i did talk to some gal there and as new as i am, i knew she was clueless.

I know I'm being a bit hard on the poor folks at MS. So Lets imaging what kind of training we could have at a few of our other fine establishments::

CPE will fly you to Ca to personaly meet Walt Smith. There you will learn the fine art of how to sell junk 50% higher because were in located Clayton. As well as the buy some of this Marc Weiss miracle crap it cures everything training!!

Beldts can teach you how to turn your cichlid tank into a reef by just adding salt.

Lets not forget everyones favorite around here.
Gateway Aquatics will be teaching everyone how to make millions by turning those common corals super rare. Learn how to give them a special name and then sell them on ebay for outrageus amounts. Don't forget Chad will personally show you step by step how to sink all of your money into a pet store!!!

Sound like you have all the answers! Can I ask you a question then? What is the sound of one hand clapping?
