gcapon - your stand - does it have cross braces to support the bottom or is it a solid support?

Just trying to figure out what thickness base one needs to support a 32" height...

So if a 15mm base can support 30" high tank without cross braces (i.e. the base is only supported on the sides), then I assume a 19mm or even 25mm base with support beams would be more than adequate for a 32" height?

That base glass - is it normal content iron glass, non tempered?

I have 96x42x30 glass tank and would never go with acrylic do to scratches.

No problems what so ever. Ive gone the acrylic rote and will never do it again.

The Builder has the same tank set up for over 15 years no problem. On 32" I would have gone 3/4 all around
