anyone interested in a Deltec KM500?

This is an excellent piece of equipment, about as low maintenance as you can get in a kalk stirrer, no pumps or magnetic stir bar to deal with.

definitely one of the better pieces of equipment I've owned in this hobby. Going to be upgrading tanks so I'm going to need a bigger reactor.

If only having 2 of these on my tank would be beneficial, I'd jump on it. :) Definitely 1 of the top 5 pieces of equipment I have ever bought in this hobby. As always, an awesome deal from tinytool!

Glad you like it. I fed it by using a Tunze osmolator hooked up to a ACIII so if my PH was below a certain point and the water level needed to be replenished then the osmolator would turn on and feed the topoff thru the stirrer.

There are many ways of doing it Sone and Allen have one they might have some good input.

Wow, that was fast shipping! :eek2: Told you tinytool was a good seller!

Just throwing out some different options other than what tinytool has mentioned.

1. Use an Aqualifter pump with a micro ball valve for adjustments.

2. Use a dosing pump.

Personally, I use a Litermeter III and it works great for me.

I'm using a dosing pump, same one that Tinytool mentioned above. With a bit of programming on your AC3, you can get it set about perfect to top off your sump. You could also add float switches to work with the AC3 and get it to work even better, thats one of my upcoming projects. Another option I've seen people use is a Maxijet 1200.
