Can you get the new DCT return pumps by jebao? I believe they have the IC in the controller instead of the pump.

I personally don't understand how the "IC" works. They claims of energy savings do not make any sense with the new pumps the DCT will not save you 50% energy over a DC model. They will save you 50% or more over most AC pumps. From what I have read they justify the saving over the fact the pump now has 10 adjustment over the old 6. Basically it seems like the controller is the main difference. Bottom line I will ask if I can get them from the distributor but they are normally a couple months behind because of shipping across the pacific. I will of course ask though.

Try and make it to the next MARS meeting if you can would be nice to chat.

The DCT models have the IC in the controller which is only $19 to replace if it overheats and goes out. DCT models are more in line with the gen 2 Waveline Pumps and RODC pumps by Coralvue.

And for sure.. It'll be nice to chat about the new tech out there... especially if we get it at a great price compared to other brands... I currently have a dc12000... its a workhorse.... +1 for anyone who is looking into Jebao pumps.

Also had another person explain the IC or Integrated Controller to me and I now have a better understanding of it. Like you said it is a new and improved model in case that part went out however still dont think it would provide any additional energy savings. Sent an email I will let you know when i hear back

They are great energy efficient pumps I have 2 running my brothers 2000+ gallon pond. I have two 9000's on my 300 gallon and normally only run them at about 40%. Huge energy savings over my old pumps.
