IMO a large CUC keeps the tank in good shape and limits a lot of problems caused by uneaten food that rots and turns to Nitrate/Phosphate and all kinds of issues. If there are too many they will become Fish food themselves and keep the wheels turning. More is better than not enough for sure.

I guess that is true bill. I am in just have to figure out what I need. Do we have to sign up on their web site or what do we need to do? Have not been on one of these buys in a while

Justin,

Were you looking at ReefTopia or ReefCleaners? ReefCleaners has some of the best prices I've seen.

I will get more details to you guys. We will all order individually AFTER I get it setup. Still waiting to hear back from them to do that. It will all ship to the same place, though, so its an actual group buy and fits within Reef Central guidelines, FWIW. We'll all pickup at the Critter on the 18th.

just to throw another into the bag but there is also reefs2go, some have voiced thier dislike of them, but supposedly they have undergone new customer service/management changes, and there prices arent bad...dont care one way or the other....

To be honest, I wasn't very happy with the animals I got from them last time. I've also seen issues with ReefCleaners, but they took care of it immediately. Reefs2Go may be the same, but John is just a cool guy at ReefCleaners and I'd rather support him I think. :)

Thanks for pointing them out, though, Jay. I had forgotten about them.

My last order with Reef Cleaners got all goofed up. I think I probably got somebody else's order. With that said, John was right on it and made it right quickly. I also like that they are close to TN (FL).

Thanks for the input, Brett.

I got the details tonight, so I'll be posting an official thread. I think I'm going to go with ReefCleaners this time and see how they go. I've only done one order with them. I love ReefTopia's selection much better, but ReefCleaners is less than half the price off the bat. I know there would be further discounts, but I may do a ReefTopia order some other time. :)
