Anyone interested in a rose tip Elegance?

I'm out if you want to auction it. Don't need it that bad. If you want to sell it for the price you are asking, I'll be there to get it.

Sorry fellas. Didn't know auctions were frowned upon. I will see if she wants to sell it between $80-$100 like I stated. Will keep everyone posted.

Sorry fellas. Didn't know auctions were frowned upon.

Just an FYI, they are "frowned upon", pretty much like robbing a bank is "frowned upon", it is just flat out against the rules and can get you kicked off of RC if anyone were to report it.

Thanks for all your interest. The 2 small pieces are sold. I will let the other interested parties know when either she or I have any to sell in the near future. I have the e-mail addresses for those who contacted me.

Just for your FYI, the 2 pieces she had when somewhat closed is around 2" and 3" and when fully opened, is around 4-5" and 6-7". The pieces sold for $80 and $100 respectively. I didn't try to auction it for more. Again, sorry about even suggesting that.

I got a 3" piece a little over a year ago and now it is around 10-12" when fully opened. I don't even directly feed mine and is under T5 lighting.

My friend has owned the mother colony for 19-20 years in her 60 gallon reef tank under 14K metal halide.

Before you guys ask me - it wasn't me who got them, but it going to a better home/tank that anyone in our club has. : )

That I know of.

Seem like Arnold knows where it went :D .. Anyone has a picture of this? I know what an Elegance coral look like but haven't seen a rose tip one. :)

You guys would make the worst WORST antiques dealers...

Correct Method:

Seller: I found this chair in my attic
Buyer: Meh, I'll give you $15...no $10 for it. Maybe.
Seller: Make it $12.50 and you've got a deal!
Buyer: OK

(next week on Antiques Roadshow, the chair sells for $25,000)

Incorrect Method:
Seller: I found this chair in my attic
Buyer: OMG! I can't believe it! A rare Pensilvania Magooga chair in pristime condition! I'll give you $20,000 for it!
Seller: Um, maybe not..
Buyer: Please! how about $25,000? You can have my dog! Whatever you want!
Seller: Er, nah, I'll take it to Antiques Roadshow...

I'm kidding! I'm kidding! It's nice that you let the seller know the actual value, versus "ripping him off".

Just make sure it's a Rose Tip Elegance you are buying and not a mis-identified RBTA!

You do have a point there. I was wondering about that a few days ago how he was able to frag an elegance. Also, I don't know too many lps corals growing this quickly.

I received pics of this and it's definite an elegance. Very nice one at that (although the pics were somewhat poor).
