Some of the old timers will remember the Crystal Sea debacle. It was horrible, a lot of people lost their entire tank, and many left the hobby. Remember Joe Berger?

WOW....I have stated numerous times that there was no guarantee of a price war which led to the $40 price (selling at a loss). I have been speaking with both the vendor and the manufacturer and they want to avoid another war so there are much tighter restrictions this time around.
HERE IS THE OFFICIAL DEAL:
1) The "Group Buy" price will be $48 each 200 gal mix, (plus sales tax). That includes ALL discounts, (no additional LIRA discount on top of that). Be advised that I was told the normal selling price was $62 and with the LIRA discount it was around $56 not $50.
2) You must be a LIRA member....sorry but that is the reason why E.S.V. is providing the salt to the vendor at an additional discount.
3) Again there will only be one vendor officially participating in the Group Buy and that is Pets Warehouse in Copiague.
4) I must provide an exact order # to ESV....he will turn around and ONLY provide that amount to PW...I will then provide PW with a list of LIRA members and the amount of their order. PW will inform me when they receive the shipment and then we can go pick it up. DO NOT ASSUME THAT THIS IS IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. Be advised that once the order is placed there will be no changes....SORRY.
5) PW will also provide the following additional deal: for every member who is involved in this group buy PW will provide a SINGLE $10 coupon (regardless of the # of boxes you order). This coupon is good for any coral or fish purchase AND you would still be entitled to our LIRA discount on that purchase.
I will post LIRA members who have expressed an interest in this group buy....please confirm if you are still in at the $48 price. The deadline to post your order is 4/18/14 at which time I will call in the order.
