Anyone keep Ctenophores?

Found one as a hitch hiker and thought he was super cool. Started target feeding him as I was afraid he wouldn't get enough food. When his tentacles grew to nearly two feet :eek2: I stopped target feeding him. Now I've got 6 of them at last count. Life as a hermaphradite has its advantages I guess. Just wondering if anyone else keeps these and if they've ever caused any problems.

I'll try to get a movie tonight when the tentacles are out feeding. In just the right light they have a rainbow shimmer. They are thin as a hair though, so not sure if anything will show up. I did get a picture of a body. I'll post it when I can get on the computer tonight. They aren't much to look at. In the tank you can't see the body at all, just those freaky night time tentacles. The first time I saw them I thought my Lobophytum had grown sweepers!

Got a movie but its pretty blurry. The tentacles look kind of like GHA. You can tell they are something else when they snap back though.

Here they are this morning. I took this because one is stuck so you can see it a little better. Every few days they get stuck on something. The weird blob on the right is a jelly pulling off of the leather because its tentacle is stuck on the edge of the outflow tube. The weird blob above it is a Stomatella snail zooming around on the back panal of the tank.

Maybe they don't need a kreisel because they don't swim? My first one lived in the tank a month before I discovered it and now I have six at last count. I guess they are doing ok. I stopped target feeding them when I realized they were reproducing but they still seem to be growing. They would probably do better in a dedicated tank though. Those shimmery tentacles would look great under color changing LEDs.

No one else keeps these? That's hard to believe. They are cute.
