The common variety is kept at some of the large aquariums. Not sure if they are harvesting any for non-commercial related individuals. I assume the Leafy would be off limits to anyone.
It appears that Quality Marine (a wholesaler) has access to aquacultured Weedy Sea Dragons. I have never kept them (or sea horses) in my long time in the hobby so, I really don't know much about caring for them.
A quick search for "sea dragon for sale" shows a couple sites offering them but the prices are crazy...$3,500 and $6,000.
