My mom loved a yellow goniopora we saw at the LFS and I figured I would challenge myself with it. Plan to target phytoplankton and dose a little iron. Hopefully it will survive as it is really a very good looking coral.
Very nice. Do you know if it was aquacultured or wild caught? BTW I'm fairly certain that the don't utilize phytoplankton for food - they eat zooplankton. I am using TLF Gonipower on an ORA Red with good early results.
Im not sure if it was wild or not, but I would assume not since a large majority of the stuff my lfs gets is aquacultured. Ill give the goniopower a shot. Dr foster smiths has it real cheap.
Yeah I read up on them a bit. Seems some think they do better in cooler water. I run 76, and he already eats flake and pellets(sinking nls so far). Hopefully all goes well.
