Have seen them for sale at my LFS recently and they are surprising small, less than 1ft and reaching Max. 2ft in the wild... Anyone have kept them before? They seems interesting to look at... Not sure if they are aggressive anot.. They will be the only eel in my tank, maybe keeping a small aggregate of them... 2-3...

I've never kept one, but when researching moderate sized eels, that one was definitely on my list. It's a really striking looking eel, but I don't have experience with it. How much is your lfs charging?

I have kept one. They are pretty easy to care for - get a little thicker bodied than a snowflake otherwise I would say they are pretty similar in most aspects.
One thing that stood out to me was that his eyesights seemed to be better than any other eel I have kept (which isnt saying much, but it was enough to stand out)
