anyone know how to care for a blind fish?

My chromis has been acting funny (not eating, swimming differently, has lost some scales) and his color has become paler as his eyes are lighter. I was worried about disease but could not find any spots and the rest of the fish are acting just fine. After observing him for about a half hour, I noticed his swimming pattern was jerky and he is bumping into a lot of rocks as well as the glass. At feeding time he appeared to know there was food and try to eat but did not get any even when it was right in front of his face! So, we think he may be blind (both eyes do not show any damage, just lighter in color around the dark center, while the other chromis has completely dark eyes) and this accounts for all his bizarre behavior. Anyone have any experience with this? How can I make sure he eats and doesn't hurt himself?

Thanks!

hi wow thats interesting but suxz for the little guy if you have a refugium i would catch him and put him in there and than try to feed him that way i would put more hermits or somthing in the fuge since you will probally have to use alot of food to even try to get him to get some in his mouth but if that dosent work still put him in the fuge and catch him and with a surenge put about 3-4 mysis or brine in his mouth and than put him in the fuge again and c if he eats it hopfully he will if that dosent work im afraid the most humain thing to do is to put him out of his misery since he will most likey starve to death :( so i would put him in the freezer or put him in a put of tank water and add baking soda i think that is what people use to help fish pass away. sorry to hear about it but try as many ideas as you can if your willing
