Anyone know how to stop bubble from leaving skimmer

I hae a reef octopus hang on back skimmer and the pipe (outlet or w.e) going in to the tank keeps producing micro bubbles lol i want to get rid of them asap!! help me pelase!

Is this a new skimmer

mine does it sometimes usally after i mess with water (top off,water change)but settles down after a while

Is your skimmer hang on tank?

What kind of skimmer is it?

If it is in the sump, do you have a bubble trap?

My sump has no bubble trap, and the skimmer is at the wrong end (should be the first thing in your sump IMO)...even so, outflow, and return pump in flow are in opposite directions and I have NO micro bubbles.

Somethings you can do:

Buy a bubble trap built for your skimmer.

Put something over the return pump intake, or the skimmer outflow to trap bubbles (sponge etc)

This is an easy fix, just give us some more details.

I have one of those skimmers,no matter what I tried I could not get rid of the bubbles

a 100 micron filter sock will help. there is the problem that its in view and you have to clean it - if you don't it can change the level in the skimmer
