Anyone know if Mag-flake is available locally?

I'd like to know too. Thats the only ingredient of Randy's 2 part that I don't have. And I really don't like buying online if I can help it. I don't like paying for shipping when I can avoid it.

No, pretty much everyone has looked. You're stuck using straight epsom salts until you can get it shipped. I got mine from harveysalts.com but there was another posting recently where people were buying it but I don't recall the website. I think those were in smaller packages.

I'd go to harveysalts just due to the price difference but they require a business address for delivery. It costs about 40 bucks for a 50 lb bag of mag to be delivered. So that's about 80 cents a lb, if you go through twopartsolution . com it is about 2X the price.

They also have dow-flake for the same price. But because prestone drive way heat is supposedly available locally i wasnt going to order it. I say supposedly because HD and lowes only have brands i havent heard are reef safe. Anyone know where to get the real stuff?

That is only 50lbs of flake

I can do almost that price for a 110-120 lb drum of Dow pellets. I buy it from Dow and it has my companies label on it. I can also provide the MSDS sheet if need be-from Dow.

I sold a bunch of it this past week-but still have some left. JLMK

I can look into the magflake if I can move a pallet of it. The price will be about half of what you pay on the net-but I wont sit on it. It does not work/sell that well for commercial use
