Anyone know if salt goes bad?

I have an un-opened bucket of IO salt and has been sitting in storage for a few years. Does anyone know if it's still good to use? Thoughts?

I tend to error on the side of caution and dump it but wanted to know if it could still be used as I'm getting back into the hobby and setting up a new aquarium.

Thanks!

clumpy as in the clumps break into "salt dust" when touched or lightly pressed should be ok.

but solid pieces (chunks) than I would pass if you have corals. All the calcium will precipate when mixed and you will have lower Ca readings.

Good to know. Thanks everyone! I was trying to think how long I've had this bucket and it may even be more like 4 years since I bought it. It's never been opened so I'm thinking it will be okay to use. Now the debate on if I want to use it since there are so many other options that from what I read yield better results than IO. But again that's a whole other debate.
