Anyone know the model of this?

I am using a older AE Tech ETSS skimmer

Measurements are as follow:
bottom box 7.5"(l) x 4.5"(w) x 9"(h)
Total height: 24"

We tried a Mag 12 lmao opps that was water everywhere so currently its running a mag 7? wide open trying to keep it from flowing cup over with no luck. I am trying to find the model so we can get a better idea of what pump to use. THis is on a 75 FOWLR it sure is skimming good compared to the other CPR SR 4 that was on it.

CAN ANYONE HELP?

Have you checked all the joints/seems? ER would imprint the model number into the float portion of the union so you would not be able to see it with the skimmer assembled.

I just need to find the equivalent model as the one I am using does not have the same dimensions as there site.

I know it is ETSS, i was just asking if you have checked all the joints as EuroReef skimmers would put their model numbers in the union.

Maybe email them the pic of it. I'm sure they could help you out getting the right pump for it. Or go to the site and find one with similar dimensions and use the pump they reccomend for that.

Problem is that there site has none with even remotely close dimensions. ON a side note anyone know where to get a 1.25" gate valve without ordering online and without it being metal? As for the pump I am going to try and do a gatevalve instead of the ball valve and see if that gives some more control. As for the seams... I found no indications anywhere as to a model.

Looks like one of the "Reef Devil" models and a Mag 7 is probably about right, I think what may be causing your problem is that the water level in your sump is to high, downdraft skimmers work on back pressure, the higher the water level is in your sump, the higher it will be in the skimmer and it will overflow if its to high. Try raising the skimmer somehow or lowering you water level.

Try Menard they had smaller plastic gate valve when I was there working on a project. I don't know about 11/4".

The skimmer just looks like an older Reef Devil Deluxe before they when to the round box.

Thanks all... I think i am going to risk a flood and place the skimmer externally as I really dont have any more room to in the stand to raise the skimmer up and if I lower the water level too much more there is going to be an issue with some of the LR (has mushrooms on it lol) being exposed and I don't think thats a good idea. Once again thanks all!
