No idea here. :)

Its kind of meaty flesh looking and clear, like a jelly fish.
Just noticed it tonight for the first time.
Little bigger than a Zoo polyp.

Is the base hard, or not? Almost looks like one of the baby plate corals I have gotten in as hitchikers. Some were clear looking, except for the base.

It's an anemone, related to the "orange ball" anemone. Very sticky tentacles and usually remains small. I have hundreds of them in my FOWLR tank. Pretty harmless.

Thanks Tom.

Pretty little thing. Fluoresces like crazy.

Just one more thing that didnt Really Die during my Rock Cooking. :)

I had some old macro-riddled rock that I put in a tub in the basement at around 65 degrees and ran a skimmer on but had no light or other circulation or aeration for about 6 months... only topoff water. When I pulled out the rock, there were hundreds of these things on it, along with an amazing amount of other life.

Some of our little sea friends are quite hardy.
