Has anyone seen these? It's like a long red worm that floats in the current

With lights on

And with lights off

I can't see what you are describing, however I see a very nice set of knives in your tank? LOL

Yeah I keep them there in case of coral warfare.

I was afraid it wouldn't capture well in the photo. It's the little line that runs through the knives

It could be a tentacle from a spaghetti from or maybe a spoon worm, is there any sort of body attached to the rock?

looks like bubble algae, it probably has a small bubble at the end, if so, you should do some research on bubble algae, and kill it appropriately. Don't procrastinate, and don't just yank it off, you need to get the hold-fast.

I think this is it, but I've never seen them during the day. Whatever it is it seems to be eating all the little jelly fish swimming around my tank

it disappeared back into the rock. it only had a little piece that was visible on the rock. I guess it's Digitate hydroid that will feed on my Hydroid jellies. I love new tanks, they are so interesting.
